Biography
Scott is originally from Queensland and in 2006 he completed his Degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of the Sunshine Coast. During his university degree, he went on an exchange to Cologne, Germany. He studied at the Deutsche Sporthochschule which is one of the top sports universities in Europe. After completing his degree, Scott moved to Melbourne to pursue his career in Personal Training. He has enjoyed his last 2 years as a personal trainer and has gained a wealth of experience in taking any sessions from 1 on 1 personal training to groups of up to 20 people.

Philosophy
Scott believes in using fuctional strength exercises to help his clients to achieve their goals. By using this philosophy, people of all ages can become stronger in their everyday lives. Scott also believes that people should have fun while they are training and will train hard while also having a laugh. Training should never be boring and using variety, Scott helps to keep an interesting and goal orientated program.

Belinda Bam

Biography
Belinda Bam has been working in the fitness industry for 10 years. Working as a personal trainer she has assisted many clients achieve their weight loss and fitness goals. Clients have ranged from people who are already fit who wanted to increase fitness levels to people who are new to exercise and need to know where to start.

Philosophy
“Always have a goal. Whether it is a weight loss goal or a fitness event like a fun run or triathlon, it is easier to stay motivated if you have a specific goal to work towards.”

Biography
Simon Carson has been working in the fitness industry for well over 10 years. He has worked with professional athletes, tv stars, large corporations and everyday people. Simon still enjoys running the MPT boot camp program drawing on his military experience. Simon has also been involved for the past 8 years in corporate health working with many companies such as National Australia Bank, Deakin University, Allens Arthur Robinson and many government departments Simon is sure to be able to help productivity in your company.

Philosophy
Simon enjoys training people who are serious about trying to reach their goals. "I will offer all the support and motivation you need but your ultimate success depends on you!"

Dan Clarke 

Biographyalt

Dan has been active in the fitness industry since 1991, with experience as a semi professional body builder (1994), competitive martial artist (2000-2005) and recently an avid cross country mountain biker. Dan possesses the dedication, commitment and will power required to achieve ones fitness goals. With such a strong passion for fitness, it is only natural that he has made it his profession.

 

Philosophy

Through his extensive experience as a Personal Trainer, Dan has successfully developed a system that grant's success to those who are looking to improve body shape and image. His core beliefs are around educating clients to make the right health and lifestyle decisions so that they have the tools and knowledge needed to take responsibility and control of their lifestyle and fitness goals.

Dan believes that in order to train effectively the client needs to be motivated toward reaching a specific destination with targets set along the way to define this journey. Promoting a sense of wellness in a fun, supportive and energetic environment, he is fully committed to helping you achieve the results you want.

Tim Alway

Biography

Tim has studied a Bachelor of Exercise Science at Australian Catholic University finishing at the top of his class. He has a Certificate 4 as a fitness instructor with Fitness Australia and is a strong believer in the power of exercise.

Tim is 110% committed to his clients and has seen some terrific results whether it be for weight loss, muscle gains or  improving overall health and wellbeing. Tim is a firm believer in enjoying yourself whilst training and does his utmost to ensure everyone has a smile on their face while exercising. He is a triathlete and loves cardiovascular fitness but is also torn with an equal passion for resistance training so as a result has a rather 'built' physique for a triathlete!

He is currently involved in further study to become a physical education teacher to teach his students the importance of exercise in an attempt to have fitter and healthier youths and adults later in life.


Philosophy

Tim is all about variety. He strives to make each session different to keep his clients guessing whilst still maintaining core exercises essential to reach the goals of each client. Tim ranges in exercises from traditional to functional and is always on the lookout for something new.

Tom Kimmet

Biography
A registered Exercise Scientist and Personal Trainer, Tom has worked in the Health & Fitness Industry since completing his Exercise Science degree in 2003.  Working in a variety of settings both here in Melbourne and in Perth WA, Tom has gained vast experience in the design and application of training programs in the fields of:

  • Personal & Group Fitness Training
  • Strength & Conditioning Training
  • Weight Loss
  • Older Adults Training
  • Pilates Instruction & Core Strength Training
  • Sport Specific Training
  • Corporate Health program delivery

Philosophy
Tom has enjoyed working with clients of all fitness backgrounds, from first-timers  through to national level elite athletes and strives to achieve the best results for all his clients through providing a friendly, yet professional and effective training environment. He believes strongly in making each of his training sessions relevant, effective and scientifically based, whilst maintaining variety and most importantly fun!

Ben Kong

Biography
Ben has studied health and human performance for over 15 years and has trained a diverse range of clients from world champion female body shapers, powerlifting national record holders and Master’s Games medallists to a range of senior corporate executives and people from all walks of life looking to achieve their health and fitness goals.

Ben is a published fitness author and a state and national bodybuilding champion specialising in resitance training, fat loss, nutrition and lifestyle coaching. With a  degree in strategic management and business background Ben also has a keen interest in corporate health and well being programs.

I believe that in order to enjoy the best possible quality of life whilst achieving career and personal goals, an individual must be empowered by learning the truth about health and fitness and how their body really works. This includes how to fuel it correctly to lose unwanted body fat, add lean muscle and maximise performance. Having the right coach with your best interests in mind who will give you unbiased and accurate information that will save years of wasted money, time and frustrating effort.

Effective training that produces the fastest possible results requires good honest effort and patience, however it must also be satisfying and integrated into your lifestyle. My favourite aspect of correct training is that it develops admirable character traits that will serve the individual well in all other aspects of life, no matter they want to achieve. Developing determination, perserverence and confidence by conquering your self imposed limitations through training has an excellent transfer to the dealing with the challenges of modern living.

Gareth Moore (BA, BSc (SpExSc), MAAESS


Biography:  Gareth has worked in the health and fitness industry since graduating with a Bachelors degree in Sport and Exercise Science in 2003. During this time he has worked in a number of locations throughout Australia and London, working in both large commercial health and fitness centres and private personal training studios. During this time he has worked with many different people who he has helped achieve a variety of goals ranging from weight loss to injury rehabilitation.

 

Philosophy: Gareth uses a variety of methods during his sessions that include both traditional strength training protocols and functional movements. He believes that technique and control are essential to the success of any training program and places a great deal of emphasis on these factors. Gareth aims to bring both structure and variety to all his sessions.

As a qualified PT with specialist training in posture education, core conditioning, injury management, and pre and post pregnancy exercise, Tim has worked with people of all levels of fitness ranging from beginners to professional athletes.

Tim understands the importance of maintaining a well balanced lifestyle. He offers a fun but challenging approach to his training, and complements this with a keen focus on healthy nutrition. Personal satisfaction in his job comes from supporting clients to achieve their goals.
